Greetings from the Hollyhock Lane Parade - Michigan's longest running 4th of July Parade.I used to live on Calvin Street years ago and always looked forward to this slice of Americana each year as it would pass right outside my window.
Now I return each year to be view this beautiful parade where neighbors and politicians walk down the road in celebration of this great American tradition.
But I am curious why Governor Granholm's marchers were not handing out any stickers. Every other candidate's team that marched today stickered the entire parade route.
It is not my intention to light fireworks during the day, but what is going on with her campaign? Anyone?
