This sudden shift in the air temps lets one know that something is coming and as history has proven there is damn little one can do except mist your flowers, cover what you are able and then hope in the AM it is not as bad as predicted.It is still quite early and already we have been up since 6 AM moving about like Shakers in the morning dawn doing the final steps of what was begun last night.
So with frozen fingers and petals to match, I want to offer up a few images of this AM.
And the jury is still out on the showy fritillaria. (It was hit, but it may survive.)
