The Telephone Show opens at ByrneBoehm Gallery, 959 Lake Drive SE, Grand Rapids.
The Telephone Show translated into the visual realm. Experience what happens when art is created in a collaborative chain.
The Original artist's interpretation of the "secret message" was passed to a second artist who, in turn, created their own piece of art in response to what was given them.
The second artist handed their "secret" piece off to a third, who created their own piece. And so it passed to eight different artists - each one working in their own medium.
All the artwork remained a secret hidden even from the participating artists, to be revealed at the show opening.
